Privacy Policy

Overview

Oren is designed to run on your infrastructure. This Privacy Policy explains what data is processed, how it is used, and the choices available to you. Our core principle: you control your data.

Data We Process

  • Local content and context you provide to Oren (commands, files, prompts).
  • Optional metadata for analytics or diagnostics if you opt in.
  • Account email addresses or identifiers when you sign up for the beta.

How Data Is Used

Oren uses data to respond to your requests, retain short-term context, and optionally store long-term memory if you enable it. By default, Oren does not send your sensitive data to external services.

Third-Party Services

Oren can integrate with third-party tools you explicitly connect (e.g., GitHub, calendar). Those integrations follow the privacy policies of their respective providers and require your consent.

Security

Security is a priority. We recommend running Oren in an isolated environment, using encryption at rest, and following your organization's security practices. If you opt into any cloud features, review the relevant docs before enabling them.

Your Choices

You control whether Oren retains long-term memory, whether telemetry is enabled, and which integrations are active. To request data deletion or export for your account, contact us at hello@oqens.me.
